Our Roots

Originally founded in 2018 as a rehabilitative exercise program for physiotherapy patients with hip and low back conditions, the HealthyHips® Method quickly became a trusted approach for improving mobility, reducing stiffness and pain, and mitigating the effects of degenerative changes such as osteoarthritis and spinal disc disorders.

Today, HealthyHips® has evolved into a comprehensive wellness brand offering:

  • Continuing education programs for movement and wellness professionals in the areas of anatomy and myofascial release

  • Accessible on-demand movement classes and programs for the public

  • Interactive workplace wellness workshops for teams, corporations, and organizations

At its core, HealthyHips® is about empowering people to move and live with greater ease through connection to the body.

Continuing Education for Movement and Wellness Professionals

With over 400 graduates and counting, HealthyHips® is proud to provide evidence-informed, embodied education for movement and wellness professionals around the world. Our programs blend lecture with embodied, experiential learning to help you expand your professional toolkit and deepen your understanding of the body. Explore our courses:

  • 20hr Online Anatomy Course — A dynamic and accessible training that combines on-demand lectures, guided practical exercises, and a robust digital manual. Learn to apply functional anatomy principles to real-world movement and teaching contexts.

  • 50hr Myofascial Release Training Program — this unique training offers a comprehensive education in myofascial release, fascial health practices, orientation exercises, interoceptive tracking, and therapeutic movement, all through a trauma-informed lens.

HealthyHips® offers two self-paced online programs designed to support your mobility, nervous system health, and overall wellbeing — with lifetime access to high-quality, evidence-informed content you can return to anytime.

  • Release Your Hips: A 15 Day Program — Therapeutic practices to ease hip tension, calm the nervous system, and reconnect with your body through a blend of somatics, myofascial release (MFR), and therapeutic movement.

  • The HealthyHips 4-Week Program — A gentle yet effective program designed to restore hip mobility and low back health. Learn accessible movement practices to release stored tension, improve stability, and relieve discomfort.

HealthyHips® Workplace Wellness Workshops

HealthyHips® offers interactive, desk-friendly workshops that help employees reduce eye strain, ease joint stiffness, improve spinal and hip mobility, and regulate the nervous system — all during lunch breaks or team wellness sessions! Through gentle, accessible exercises that can be done even at a desk, employees learn how to reduce eye strain and screen fatigue, ease joint stiffness and muscle tension, support spinal and hip mobility, regulate the nervous system, and improve focus, posture, and overall wellbeing
