Relax your body, restore your nervous system 🧠

Discover the benefits of Somatics and Yoga Nidra (NSDR) ✨

Yoga Nidra a.k.a. Non-Sleep-Deep-Rest (NSDR) is a systematic guided meditation that induces physical and mental relaxation. This technique activates the Parasympathetic (Rest & Digest) response of the Nervous System, taking you out of Fight-or-Flight mode, and into a space where your body and mind can completely restore. Yoga Nidra (NSDR) is used by Google CEO Sundar Pichai and researched by Stanford Ophthalmology Professor, Dr Andrew Huberman. This technique also helps to reduce chronic pain in the body by improving proprioception. It can also decrease feeling of anxiety and stress.

Somatics Exercises are slow, methodical movement exercises of contraction and release that work directly with the nervous system to release muscular tension, relieve chronic pain, improve posture, improve joint mobility, and restore proper movement function. These exercises are performed in a slow, conscious, and gentle manner, performed with the intention of focusing on sensation and the internal experience of the movement (interoception), rather than the external appearance or result of the movement. Somatics are an effective approach to pain-relief, relieving tight muscles, and improving proprioception (body awareness)!
